International marine environmental consulting CSA Ocean Sciences Inc has obtained a permit in California that enables it to carry out marine surveys and contribute to the state’s ambition to develop up to 25 GW of offshore wind.
The Florida-headquartered company said this week it has received a non-exclusive General Offshore Geophysical Survey Permit from the California State Lands Commission (CSLC), which allows it to conduct low-energy marine surveys within a three-mile zone from the mean high tide line up and down California’s coast.
