French energy group TotalEnergies SE (EPA:TTE) will construct a 14.8-MW DC solar park with storage in California’s Santa Barbara County to supply an industrial site owned by French mineral extraction and processing group Imerys.
The partners have signed a 25-year power purchase and storage services agreement (PPSSA), Imerys said on Tuesday. The contract will enable the construction of a photovoltaic (PV) park at the firm’s Lompoc diatomite mining and processing facility and its integration with a 7.5-MWh battery energy storage system.
