The electric vehicle is powered by a lithium-ion battery pack much like most electric cars on the road but what differentiates the Sion EV from Sono Motors is the fact it is covered in solar panels. We had covered this story previously, however I really like the fact I can plug my coffee machine (see Video) into it, use it to power a camp site or a small house for that matter.
It also gets around 30 klms a day from solar charging which is about what I need for the school run, and has a pretty decent range. Fully Charged that the car will have 255km/155 mile WLTP range.
