Ignitis Renewables’ 50MW Silesia wind farm 1 in Poland has reached its commercial operation date.
The project is located in south-western Poland in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, near the border with Czech Republic.
It comprises of 14 wind turbines with 3.6MW capacity each and estimated production is expected to be approximately 122GWh per year.
The total investment in the wind farm will reach approx €75m and the wind farm will sell electricity generated under contract for difference (CfD) tariff of €78 perMWh. The tariff is inflation-indexed annually.
