Renewable energy firm Enlight has commissioned two solar-plus-storage projects in Israel in the last few weeks, totalling 71MWh of energy storage capacity.
Enlight Renewable Energy has put the 17MW PV, 31MWh Arad Valley 1 project into commercial operation, it announced this week (11 September).
This comes a few weeks after it announced the commercial operation of another solar-plus-storage project, Sde Nitzan, which combines 23MW of solar PV and 40MWh of energy storage. Enlight claimed at the time that it was Israel’s first combined solar and storage project.
