EnBW has been expanding its public quick-charging infrastructure in recent times and has reached the milestone of 1,000 stations across Germany. Thanks to its latest opening, the firm has become the first to reach this figure in the country.
The company has also significantly increased its investment in e-mobility infrastructure in recent times, from over 100 million euros annually to around 200 million euros.
“Our continuous expansion of the nationwide quick-charging infrastructure, which is powering the cars of every manufacturer, is playing a major role in the success of more sustainable mobility. As a company involved in the energy transition, we are thus committed to cutting carbon emission in the transport sector – today and in the future,” explained Andreas Schell, CEO of EnBW.
