ANDI and Naturgas have launched the first hydrogen corridor project in Colombia together with nine companies.
“The Hydrogen Corridor is not just a concept, it is about rethinking the way we transport cargo in a country where more than 95% of goods are moved by road. As we all know, transportation is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions,” said Karen Peralta, Director of the ANDI-Naturgas Hydrogen Chamber.
According to the figures, transportation has an important share in the country’s greenhouse gas emissions. About 12% of the country’s emissions correspond to transport, with 6% corresponding to freight transport.
