Royal Farms has expanded its relationship with Tesla by adding a new Super Charger to its network of convenience stores. The retailer held a ribbon cutting event in Gaithersburg, Maryland, alongside the local Tesla Owners Club to celebrate the opening of the new charging site.
The company’s relationship with Tesla began in 2017, and currently has 14 locations with EV chargers open to the public. As EV vehicle sales continue to grow, they look to bring EV charging to an additional 25 stores through this existing partnership. Currently, these chargers are only for Tesla vehicles.
