Aral is committed to accelerate the expansion of its ultrafast charging network by doubling charging points across Germany. The retailer aims to have a total charging network of 3,000 chargers under its Aral pulse brand.
The company currently operates around 1,500 points and plans to invest up to 100 million euros for the expansion throughout 2023.
E-mobility has picked up pace lately across the country. Aral pulse has expanded its charging network by 50% to just over 1,300 charging points in the second half of 2022. At the same time, customer interest in charging solutions grew even faster, with the company selling twice as much electricity as in the first half of the year.
