GM Invests In More Solar, Michigan Facilities To Be Powered By Renewables

Unlike a certain other automaker, General Motors GM doesn’t seem to be interested in getting into making or selling solar power generating equipment. But that doesn’t mean the Detroit-based automaker isn’t interested in renewable energy. Like and increasing number of large and small companies, GM has committed to science-based sustainability targets and a big part of that is shifting its operations to running on renewable energy. Thanks to a new partnership with DTE Energy DTE, GM plans to have all of its southeast Michigan operations powered by renewables by 2023.
