Egypt hits 200 natural gas filling stations

Egypt’s current total number of natural gas filling stations reached 200 locations following the recent opening of the first natural gas pump in Sharm el Sheikh, South Sinai, according to an Egypt’s Cabinet statement issued on 26 December.

The country plans to open 325 new natural gas filling stations by the end of 2021, stated Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum & Minerals, Tarek El Molla.

In order to facilitate gas conversion in Egypt, President Abdel Fattah el Sisi called on different actors for organising and integrated expo that bolsters vehicles to run with natural gas, reports Arab Finance.
