President Donald Trump announced an effort to expand nuclear energy use by launching a complete review of current policy, The Hill reported.
The announcement came as nuclear reactors, which currently generate 20 percent of the country’s power, are expected to decline to 11 percent by 2050 as plants retire. Trump did not disclose specific details of the plan.
